# FAQs: Building courses

**Should I build manually or use AI Studio?**  
 Use AI Studio to get a complete draft quickly, and manual creation for full control. You can edit an AI-generated course manually afterwards. See [Course Creation & Authoring: Overview](/product/course-creation/).

**My problem shows “0 points possible (ungraded)”.**  
 The subsection it’s in doesn’t have a grading type yet. Assign one, and the problem will count towards the grade. See [Setting Up Grading](/product/course-creation/setting-up-grading/).

**Graded problems aren’t counting towards the grade.**  
 Check that the subsection has an assignment type, and that the section, subsection or unit isn’t hidden. Hidden content is left out of grading entirely.

**A component stopped working after I changed the enabled modules.**  
 Removing a module from **Enabled modules** while components of that type still exist breaks them. Re-enable the module, or delete those components first.

**A file I deleted broke part of my course.**  
 Deleting an asset that’s in use breaks whichever component points to it, without warning. Check the **ACTIVE** column before deleting anything. See [Managing Assets](/product/course-creation/managing-assets/).

**My embedded Google file doesn’t display.**  
 Use the embed code, not the share link. A share link won’t render.

**I can’t choose the certificate design I want.**  
 Certificate templates are created at platform level by an admin. Course authors choose from the templates that already exist. See [How to create a certificate template](/product/platform-setup/how-to-create-a-certificate-template/).

**A learner needs to retake a course with a new group.**  
 Enrol them in the new course run rather than resetting their progress in the old one. Learners in one run don’t see the others.

**How do I check my course before learners see it?**  
 Switch to the learner view and open the course. See [How to switch between admin and learner views](/product/getting-started/how-to-switch-between-admin-and-learner-views/).
