# Getting Started

**Who this is for:** Everyone

Blend-ed is an AI-native learning platform. Your organisation uses it to build courses, deliver them to learners, and track how learning is going, all in one place.

This section helps you sign in, find your way around, and know where to go next for your role.

## Who does what
Every user has one role, and it decides which parts of Blend-ed they can reach.

| **Role** | **What they do** |
| --- | --- |
| Super Admin | Full control of the organisation, including other admins |
| Admin | Full control over users, courses and organisation settings |
| Staff | Works on the platform, with access set by individual permissions |
| Learner | Takes courses |

Staff can do as little or as much as their permissions allow. A course author might only see course-building tools, while a reporting role might only see Analytics. See [General overview: Staff permissions](/product/users-roles-and-teams/general-overview-staff-permissions/).

## Two views

| **View** | **Who uses it** | **What it’s for** |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Admin view | Super Admins, Admins and Staff | Building courses, managing users, settings and reports |
| Learner view | Learners, plus anyone checking the learner experience | Taking courses and tracking progress |
