Enrollment & Publishing

Who this is for: Super Admins, Admins, and Staff with the Enrollment Management permission

Two things have to happen before a learner can take your course: the course has to be available, and the learner has to be enrolled in it. This section covers both.

You enrol them. From the course’s Enrollments page, you add learners directly. Use this for cohorts, corporate clients, and anyone you’re onboarding deliberately.

They enrol themselves. The course appears in your catalogue and learners enrol or buy it. Use this for open courses and anything you sell.

Both can run on the same course.

Note: A course needs at least one enrolment mode before anyone can enrol, whatever its publish status.

  • Enrolling learners — adding people individually, by email, or in bulk

  • Self-enrolment and checkout — what learners experience, including saving courses for later

  • Publishing — making a course available and taking it down again
