Staff support guide
Who this is for: New staff members on a Blend-ed platform
Welcome to Blend-ed. This guide covers how to get your account, what you’ll be able to do, and where to find things.
Getting your account
Section titled “Getting your account”Your administrator invites you by email. You’ll receive a message titled You have been invited to join [your organisation].
-
Open the email and click Complete Registration.
-
On the registration page, fill in:
-
Full name
-
Public username — between 2 and 30 characters
-
Password — must meet the platform’s password criteria
-
-
Click Create an account for free.
Your email address is already filled in and can’t be changed. You must register with the address the invitation was sent to.
Once registered, sign in at your organisation’s Blend-ed address.
If the invitation hasn’t arrived, check your Promotions and Spam folders. It comes from a DoNotReply address, which some inboxes filter. If it’s genuinely missing, ask your administrator to send it again.
Why your platform may look different from a colleague’s
Section titled “Why your platform may look different from a colleague’s”Staff members don’t all see the same thing. What’s visible to you depends on the permissions your administrator has granted, and two people with the same job title can have quite different access.
If a section isn’t in your navigation, you don’t have that permission yet. That’s a configuration choice, not a fault. Ask your administrator rather than assuming something is broken.
Your administrator can see exactly what you’ve been granted under Users > Staff.

Two things worth knowing early
Section titled “Two things worth knowing early”Courses are separate from course access. Being a staff member on the platform doesn’t automatically give you access to a specific course. To work on one, you need to be on that course’s team. See Managing Your Course Team & Learner Communication.
Drafts aren’t live. Content you create stays as a draft until published, so learners won’t see your work until you’re ready. See Enrollment & Publishing.
Getting help
Section titled “Getting help”If you can’t reach something you need, your administrator can grant the permission.
If something isn’t working as described here, contact Blend-ed support.
